Thank you to all who participated in our annual jog-a-thon as students, supporters or volunteers. It was a huge success earning a grand total of $57,344! Proceeds from this run support the budget here at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School.
Because our students hit the goal of $50,000 we will be turning Dr. Mahar into a chocolate sundae with a date yet to be determined. Parents are welcome to watch the event unfold outside of the gym by the lower fields once a date is set.
We are so proud of how well our students performed at the run and wish to thank everyone who supported our students, whether it was through helping your child create a fundraising page and sending it out to family and friends, cheering on students at the run, or through donating yourself, we could not have surpassed our goal without your help.
Congratulations to our top earning class: 4B – The Dancing DJ’s, who earned $5,820 in donations and our top student, Joshua W in 4B, who brought in $3,900 earning a party for up to 10 kids at the Flying Squirrel in Everett or a party at High Trek in Mukilteo.
As a reminder, the top earners from each grade will receive a $50 Amazon gift card and the top earners from each class will get the opportunity to make the Dr. Mahar Sundae.
