Tuition Assistance and Affordability

St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School strives to make a Catholic education possible for all families. We are able to do this with the help of the Fulcrum Foundation and their Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) grant. This program is designed for families and students currently enrolled in or applying for any Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle. The student(s) must be enrolling in any grade Kindergarten – 12th for the 2023-2024 school year. TAP grants are based on financial need.

Applicants must apply online through the FACTS link. Each family will pay a $40 application fee to FACTS. Once an online application has been submitted, the following information must be uploaded on the FACTS website to complete the application process:

Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
Copies of your 2021 W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.
FACTS (Grant & Aid Assessment) will be processing all Fulcrum Tuition Assistance Grant applications. The application and supporting documentation must be completed and all documentation uploaded on the FACTS (Grant & Aid Assessment) website no later than January 6, 2023. This includes payment of the application fee.

A family may also qualify for additional In-House Tuition Assistance if you have applied for a Fulcrum Grant and are a parishioner.

If you need assistance or have questions, please reach out to Melissa Morrier-Turk before December 1st.
