Auction Schedule and On-line Bidding Information

We are excited to be hosting our Auction again this year at McMenamins Anderson School in Bothell.

Schedule the night of the auction is as follows:

5:30 pm     Doors open; Cocktail Hour begins

7:00 pm     Grace, dinner begins

8:00 pm     Live auction begins

8:15 pm     Dessert Dash

10:30 pm   Silent Auction closes

If you cannot make it, no worries! Anyone can bid online, from anywhere. Use your smart device to bid on Silent Auction items, or purchase your Taco’s and Trivia entrance. You may easily track packages you are bidding on by “following” their activity.

In order for anyone to bid, whether in-person or from elsewhere, you must pre-register with our auction site at this link. This is direct access to the 2024 Spring Gala and Auction. Once you pre-register you will then be allowed to bid on items right away. Yes…right away! This year the Silent Auction has opened Tuesday, April 9th. Once on the website you will click the blue “Get Started button” and then “Create Account”. You are welcome to share this information with anyone you think would like to bid on, or support, St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School. Only one person per household should register. Read here for more information regarding how to bid online. Bidding for Silent Auction items will close at 10:30 pm Saturday, April 13th.

If you are attending in person and you don’t want to stand in lines at auction check-in, stop by the Scrip portable Friday morning, April 12th, between 8:00 am – 8:45 am. Ashley Denk will be there to help you pre-purchase items such as your Wine Wall cork, a raffle ticket for a pair of SMM Kicks and $100 gift card to the SMM Shop, Heads or Tails beads, or your entrance to the Taco’s and Trivia event. While there, Ashley will ensure you are pre-registered as well. On Saturday night, you can just show up, skip the lines and pick up your pre-purchased items and bid package at will-call.

Did you know? On average, about half of all silent auction items are left at the venue for the host to pack up and take back to the school. Despite handing winners their silent auction packages, many leave them on tables and forget to take winnings home. Leaving others to pack them into cars, or in some cases, the host has to return to the venue the next day to pick items up. This year the Silent Auction items will not be at the venue on display, instead there are photos online and in person. Most packages will be available at the school starting Monday, April 15th. If you win an item that can fit in a 9×13 envelope it will be at the auction and handed to you at check out.
