Elaine Panwar - Staff Directory 2022-2023

Hello! I am delighted to be joining the wonderful staff at St. Mary Magdalen. I am a recent transplant from California and a UCLA alumnus. I have taught language arts and English as a second language to elementary, middle, and high school students as well as to adults both in the United States and abroad for over twenty years. As a teacher, I strive to ignite the spark of imagination, curiosity, and a passion for learning. When I am not teaching, I am hiking, playing tennis, or reading my favorite author, Charles Dickens. I have two adult children who now live in Seattle.​
