The Fun Run fundraiser is a spirited event that combines fitness, community, and philanthropy in support of our school’s mission. Participants of all ages come together to run, jog, or walk, raising funds that directly benefit various programs and initiatives within our school. 2025-2026 Fun Run: September 26th
Our Fun Run was a huge success, bringing the entire school community together for a joyful day filled with sunshine, high energy, laughter, and school spirit. Students gave their best effort as they ran, cheered, and celebrated together on the field, with bubbles adding extra excitement to the course. After crossing the finish line, everyone gathered to celebrate with refreshing frozen pops, making it the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable day of fun, movement, and celebration.
Thanks to this incredible community effort, the Fun Run raised $56,308.79 to support campus safety and security improvements for the 2025–2026 school year. Of these funds, $50,000 was designated for safety and security enhancements across campus, with $13,193.87 already allocated to priority upgrades including tamper-resistant film on front and entry doors, remote-controlled black-out blinds in street-facing classrooms and portables, enhanced visual security around the main office, and student technology safety tools through Securly.
To date, these investments have included S&T Window Film ($7,707.29), Bulger ($3,446.14), Rye Barker ($1,660.08), Budget Blinds for the front offices ($4,654.28) and additional classrooms ($5,613.70 and $6,725.80 for Rooms 112 and 114), Milne exterior door security and cameras ($7,381.98), and Securly student tech security ($2,500.00). In addition, quotes are currently being obtained for security blinds for the 5th grade portables as part of the next phase of installations.
The remaining balance of $10,310.73 continues to be encumbered for the completion of black-out blinds in remaining classrooms and portables, ensuring consistent safety and security measures across campus.
