Catholic Schools Week is Next Week

Parents, we are excited to be kicking off Catholic Schools week soon!  See below for an agenda of this special week celebrating all that is St. Mary Magdalen!
Sunday, January 26th Open House and Special Person’s Day at St. Mary Magdalen School 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Students wear their uniforms to church and receive FREE DRESS on Monday, the 27th. Students are being asked to assist with Mass this Sunday.  Please click here to sign up as an Alter Server or other participant.  Students, bring your special person (or persons) and come show off your classroom. Visit all classes, Pre-School thru Eighth Grade and help yourself to refreshments to be served outside the main office. The Cookie Contest will take place today as well. Drop your masterpiece off at the main office by 9:30 am to be judged and then shared with those attending the open house. Winners announced at 1:00 pm. Parents, we are asking for donations of goodies such as cookies, brownies or other treats to share at the Open House.  You will receive service hours for every $20 spent and/or every hour baking. Please drop these off at the main office starting at 8:30 am Sunday morning.
Monday, January 27th Community DayCelebrating our Volunteers
Students who attended Mass and wore their uniform receive FREE DRESS today! Teachers will be handing out candy to parents at drop off and pick up and if you can stay, we invite all school and classroom volunteers to celebrate YOU from 8:30 am – 9:30 am over coffee and pastries in the John Paul II extension portable.
Tuesday, January 28th Student Day is Teacher’s Choice.
Thursday, January 30th Celebrating Vocations
The students will deliver cards made by each class to the Parish Office along with some goodies and juice.
Friday, January 31st Celebrating Faculty, Staff, and
our Distinguished Graduate
Teachers will have some goodies to snack on in their lunchroom. We will also celebrate our Distinguished Graduate for 2020, Jane Mason. She will be honored in the Parish Hall at 2:00 pm. Our First Graders will lead us in a special program for National Catholic Schools Week honoring our Distinguished Graduate with a reception to follow in the school library.
