National Catholic Schools Week Starts January 28th

This year, National Catholic Schools Week will be held January 28th – February 2nd, 2024 and is a week dedicated to celebrating our students, our families, our parish and our staff. Please join us Sunday, January 28th as we kick off the week with Dr. Mahar speaking at all masses and visit with us during our annual Catholic Schools Week Open House from 10 am – 2 pm.

Our 8th grade Ambassadors will provide tours and answer questions for families wanting to learn more about St. Mary Magdalen Catholic School. Students who attend mass this weekend are encouraged to wear their uniform.

Each day of Catholic Schools Week we will focus our celebration on a different theme:

Monday, January 29th we are Celebrating our Community

Students will be making Valentine’s Day cards for our homebound parishioners.

 Tuesday, January 30th we are Celebrating our Students

Wednesday, January 31st we are Celebrating our Parents

We will attend an all-school mass at 8:30 a.m.

Thursday, February 1st we will Celebrate our Volunteers and Alumni on

Volunteer and Alumni Appreciation Day with special distinction to our selected Distinguished Graduate, Joe Cornin

Catholic Schools Week Service and Distinguished Graduate Celebration will begin at 2:00 pm

Friday, February 2nd we will Celebrate our Nation and hold Be Irish day

First Friday St. Vincent de Paul Food Drive

First Friday St. Vincent de Paul Food Drive – shampoo and bars of soap are requested.
