Families of St Mary Magdalen School,

It has certainly been an unusual and eventful year. We have arrived at the conclusion of a school year that will be different from any other that our students will experience. It is a testament to the fortitude of our community, the dedication and quality of our teaching staff, and the resiliency of our students that, despite the challenges we have experienced, learning continued, growth continues, and our faith continues.

It has truly been an honor being the principal of St. Mary Magdalen School. To work among such excellent students, such a wonderful and caring staff, and such an inviting parish and school community. Catholic schools provide us with an opportunity to experience education differently. I believe that St. Mary Magdalen excels at taking advantage of what a private school can provide to its students. What we can and have accomplished together.

I know that I am grateful for the education my own children have received while they have attended our school. I know that it has made a difference in their lives. They have received a rigorous, value-based, faith-filled educational experience. I know what it is like to be a member of this community and that my family is grateful for the experience.

Thank you very much for the opportunity to serve as your principal. I know that you are in good hands with Dr. Mahar and that there are great things on the horizon for our school and our school community in the coming years. I will continue to treasure the memories that were forged during my time here and know that I will carry a debt of gratitude for my experiences as part of our St. Mary Magdalen Community. Have a fantastic summer and thank you for being part of this community.
